In 21 contact hours, you’ll learn how to:

  • Help clients 和 their support team plan nutritious meals
  • Teach clients modified ways to safely perform daily tasks
  • Provide compassionate emotional support

Classes are scheduled on weekends to give you the flexibility you need. Once you successfully complete the three-week program, you’ll be ready to take the Kansas HHA Certification exam.

You must successfully complete a reading comprehension exam before admission. Please bring copies of your Social Security card 和 current Kansas 中央社 card to your first class.

  • Health Occupations T-shirt  - approx. $10

Certifications (中央社 和 CMA students only)

  • Basic Life Support (CPR) for Healthcare Provider certification by the American Heart Association (if you don’t already have it).
  • A negative TB skin test or negative chest X-ray within one year of the class end date.  A two-step TB skin test may be required.
